UMFM Seeks Campus & Community Outreach Coordinator (Term Position)
UMFM 101.5 is currently looking for a Campus & Community Outreach
Coordinator. This 10 week Summer Term position is funded through the
Government of Canada’s Summer Job Program and is the ideal summer position
for the creative student with a good understanding of the role that Campus
& Community Radio plays in the local community. Excellent communication
and computer skills are essential, and the position will pay $10.00 per
hour, based on a 40-hour workweek.
Some duties will include, but are not limited to:
·Development & implementation of promotional strategies focusing on
creating a greater awareness of UMFM on the campus & in the community
·Creation of new station imaging (Promos, IDs, PSAs)
·Assisting with daily administration (program logs, CRTC compliance,
scheduling, etc)
·Maintaining Summer Programming (Music & Spoken Word)
·Digital Archiving (cleaning up existing UMFM programs for rebroadcast)
·Other duties based on demand

This position is only open to students who were registered full-time
during the preceding academic year and intend on returning to school full
time in September. Preference will be given to volunteers in good standing
at UMFM. UMFM is an equal opportunity employer. Terms of employment - June
