THE BAD NEWS
===========
- Starting pulp fiction sample dosn't really fit in
- Only one significant/tension build ups
- The stop dead at the end was unforgivable shoulda atleast fadded the vol of the lows for a nice sweep fade
THE GOOD NEWS
============
- Smooth beat matching
- Smooth track flow (no hard cuts of sharp sounds)
I personally think that your mixing abbility is good you just need some more work on the little things like better flow and more epic builds
it seems like theres a few more getting to the end but an epic build is used to set off a heavy new track not to end the track.
All in all though pretty good the only thing that
REALLY NEEDS WORK is the time line 30 mins just aint long enofe for a mix man an hour atleast even just to start to get the feel of how your ganna lay down a set.
Its all about the emotion of the music and linking them together to make an experiance not just random tunes smashed together cuz they sync good

finally! that's exactly the FEED BACK i was looking for.. thanks very much.. my main concern with this mix (because it's only 30 minutes) was the beat matching and transitioning.. i will of course work on building up tensions and better phrasing.. the sample was from the Halloween remake. couldn't resist throwing it in even though it doesn't really work
thanks again for critiquing it for me man.. i've been waiting about two weeks to hear back from someone who isn't my friend for something other than 'loved it! awesome '.. i've mentioned in other posts that i'm keen to develop good habits now and stamp out the bad ones.. always improving and learning
it seriously is hard to find good criticism eh? lol. when i listened to it i thought there was only like 5 songs, haha.

Erik Prydz & Axwell - 321
i think i have this vinyl somewhere's from a few years back, i always favoured the flip though, 123. Nice intro, looks like a nice TL, i will give it a listen later.
listening to tocadisco @ sensation budapest right now, live !, just heard svd pound down. Moosehead drinking etc

let me know what ya think.. this is my only recorded set so far but it's still pretty similar to what i'm into EDM wise.
..both trax are good yeah..i'm not a huge fan of axwell ch33ze but his work with Erik on those two trax is solid. TOCADISCO is rad.. I have a live Dance Department set from em a while back.. collection of other DJ's including Sasha, King Unique and Shinedoe, I think from 2006. Dance Department radio in general is pretty solid
