i cant stand shit like this, its more about art then sound quality.

The hi end audiophile industry is the biggest crock of shit, i know, im in the same industry.

Owning one of these turntables is more about "look what i can waste my money on" then "this sounds amazing"

Ya. Just look at the product descriptions for these things. Its all marketed using descriptions that target people looking for luxury and art and something perceived as sophisticated. They make very little comment on the technical side of things and there's no section on technical specifications at all, so its unlikely the type of people buying these turntables are all that interested in technical specs.
