a return flight to miami is about $480 (all taxes & fees included) right now

beach front hotel $120 a night with two double beds (so $30 per person)

Fuck staying anywhere. I'd fly in for like 9pm, go to the show, and go back to the airport to fly to Winnipeg and work the next morning. Hotels are freaking expensive in TO.

yes most events are sold out or else ridiculously high in price the day of so i suggest buying your tickets in advance at www.wantickets.com. they have pretty much every event @ wmc on that site

lineups at ultra are decent as there are lots of entrances. but at the clubs, hotels, beaches it all depends.

Some people think that WMC is not the real deal, and would rather go to super clubs in London or beaches in South America...My opinion is that they are broke because they cannot put food on the table spinning records once a month at some bunk venue.

I apologize :(, I was going over board there, where my opinions took the best of me. Truth is, I posted the original message to a response to a certain individual (no names), that thought they could mock WMC for no apparent reason. I just used the excuse of them being being broke as my personal opinion in response. So, to clear things up, I cant see anything better during that particular time that would be even close to comparison to WMC. :)

you're going to ultra both days, all day? it's best to hit up the pool parties (like radio1's) during the day and ultra at night as most sets during the day at ultra are from the locals and less-known dj's while the headliners play later in the night (after pool parties end).

...if any of you guys have Sirius Satelite Radio tune into Area 33 (one of the elecrtonica stations). I was listening to it this morning on the way to school today and they are covering all the live sets of all WMC all week..they named everyone from Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Danny Tanaglia, Dj Collette, Sasha and John Digweed all the way to Tommy Lee that they will be playing live on their station from WMC.

not as good as being there but atleast I can still hear them all live while driving around!

No clue who did The remix of Greece 2000, I am not much of a fan of it... the track before it also sounds like an old school - new school remix but I can't place it. The Toca remix that ends the sets sounds different than ones I came across about a month or so back... maybe it's the vocal that is looped over top from Get Enough

im on the hunt for numerous sets, Sander k live @ space on the terrace. David Guetta live @ ultra (carl cox tent), Marco V 4am closing at Juicey beach. Marco V, SvD and Eddie Halliwell @ AM only. I think Eddie was partying just as hard as anyone on the florr. The visuals where fucking mind blowing during haliwell set. Footage from the war, rise upppp. The most mind fucking thing ive ever seen especially on a vast arey of uppers and downers.

it was great, cause he played pure banging trance, didn't mess with that stepped on electro buisness that everyone is becoming ever so tiresome with. During some of those build-ups, with the the video screens showing prisoners in some sort of p.o.w camp, all of them with there fists in the air, then women and children running to break free, then boom there's the bass. That shit fucks with you, lol.

its too bad nobody seems to care about visuals. on the main stage at ultra, they are making people cheer for themselves for being there, and the place goes nuts. then he says a big thanks to the lights and visuals team. and i fucking heard crickets. ok not really. but i felt like the only one who yelled. fucking wankers.
