Reminds me of when (late 90's) the owners of the Nor-Villa and the Dawson Trail Motor Inn (Lorette) wanted the music changed up from country/rock to dance. Maaaaaan that was rough. The regulars had a shit. And that was just with 'mainstream' dance music, nevermind the psy/tech/whatever!

The Briar has changed a lot over the last couple years. The totally renovated it .. they got a sweet dance floor and a decent system. The place has potential for sure.

Anyhow, it was too late to make catching a bus worthwhile otherwise I would have. Woo hoo go out in the rain/snow to spend 1 and a half hours on the bus and 45 minutes in the club! funny story about that...my friend knows someone who's currently building a party bus, and mabye if it has room at the end of the night, it could shuttle people back down town if it ends its rounds at the brier. thats way still in the works and just a thought at this moment.
