I'm not too sure what to think of this. Something about it seems off. It seems a bit campy. But they do have another year to finish it, so who knows what the final result will be like.

lol, then again, i think i may have figured out why it seems a little off, everyone's been posting on the ign forums about it being a possible april fools joke. i think i tend to agree, based on the work, and that nothing's been posted about it as of yet. *thinks he got suckered*

Metroid would rock indeed! I can't wait for the Castlevania movie...please don't suck. The new Street Figther one has potential as well.

As long as Uwe Boll or whatever didn't get his hands on it... I think if one of the game companies actually took the time to give a good amount of input on the movie then perhaps something decent could come out of it. As opposed to just them handing over the rights and throwing caution to the wind... hasn't worked out as of late.

Gah my original post was made before actually seeing the trailer. It looked almost as bad as the 2nd Mortal Kombat movie. That said, a Zelda movie would rock and I really hope they do one at some point, but hopefully they do it justice.

Also, to confirm that it was an April fools joke the credits at the end had the film listed as an "IGN Entertainment" Production...last time I checked IGN wasn't making blockbuster hollywood movies.

Mega Man was a bad ass series, I just feel that a movie could easily kill the image that we all grew up with.
