Lemniscate - Abstraction

I mixed a trance cd last week. It is very rare that I ever mix trancey-trance, but this was different as I was making it for a friend. It really grew on me as I was making it and after a few listens.

Comments or criticisms both verily welcomed. I'm interested in hearing what people would have to say about it. This is the first cd of mine I'm taking public and am always curious to know what other listeners think of what I do.

Very solid mix.

Curious, was it mixed with vinyl? CD? Serato?

I mixed this on my computer.

I'm trying to look in to recording from my mixer to computer, so far I haven't been able to figure out how to get real cd-quality sound when recording. Everything comes out pretty low quality even after encoding it at a high bitrate. I'm hoping I'll be able to figure this out by summer when I'll have a lot more free time.

D/L a program called MYMP3PRO. You should be able to find a torrent on www.mininova.com It allows you to increase the bitrate of recordings/tracks up to 420k quality.
